Capanama is the anchor shareholder and the managing company of PFS “Prime Food Service Holding” and GFS “Global Food Services Holding”, full-service hospitality companies. Operating in the GCC, they hold the franchise rights for the renowned authentic French steak house, “Le Relais de l’Entrecôte”, famous for its special formula and secret sauce. Well established presently in Qatar, Riyadh, and Dubai, Capanama is currently working on expansion plans for Bahrain and Abu Dhabi with a window to Europe.
1) Capanama is the pillar founder of BML « Beton Mont Liban », a full-fledged ready mix concrete manufacturer and provider, established in 2006 in Abou Mizan, Metn, with a yearly production capacity of 125.000 m3. Its main activities relate to the production and distribution of ready mix concrete under two sectors:
Standard concrete: in conformity with technical national specifications. Tests are performed as per Libnor and ASTM standards.
High strength concrete: special concrete mix design for any required strength.
The high level of professionalism and expertise attracted the building industry as well as the elite contractors.
2) BSI “Building Steel Industry” was established in 2006 and operates out of Qatar to cater for the local and the export markets. It provides the highest quality of Pre-Engineered metal buildings in the region. Capanama is one of the major investors in BSI, since inception.
Located in the New Industrial Area in Doha, BSI totals a 10,000m² of facilities. The plant is established to accommodate a production up to 4,000MT per month including frames, galvanized panels & accessories.
BSI engineering experts are compliant with the USA latest applicable codes for the design and the manufacture of its products, ensuring safety and high quality.
Capanama accompanied the launching of Cedrus Group since day one through Cedrus Investment Bank, and participated actively to its development through the purchase of Standard Chartered Bank SAL.
Founded in Beirut in 2011, Cedrus Investment Bank aims at bridging the gap between the regional client’s needs and global banks offers. It offers high-end services in Wealth Management, Capital Markets, and Investment Banking, addressing individuals, family institutions and corporate entities in the Middle East, Gulf and North Africa (MENA) region.
The real estate sector attracted Capanama despite the hazardous situation in Lebanon. In 2013/2014, Capanama engineered the infrastructure of a mega commercial and office project to be erected in Hazmieh district on one of the largest pieces of land still vacant in the area.
Capanama participated also in a residential project in Zikrit, targeting the middle market which is currently the most interesting part in Lebanon residential sector.
Finally, to counterbalance the fragile political surroundings in Lebanon, Capanama diverted the real estate investment to Europe with a first step in the industrial real estate sector in Germany.
